Charity Bears

Are you “bearly” surviving the summer heat?  Need something fun to take your mind off it?  Join us for a couple of hours of fun making a bear (or 2!) for charity! The original pattern is from KImberbell, but has been adapted for a larger hoop (at least 260x200) and fewer hoopings.  We will have kits available in various fleeces and flannels, or you may bring your own.  You provide your embroidery machine and arm, stabilizer, threads (main color, nose, eyes, and heart) and scraps for applique (nose and heart).

When you sign up, you will be emailed more complete directions and a supply list.  Each session will be limited to 8 to 10 people, so get your friends together and sign up.  A $5 donation is requested to cover the costs of snacks and provided supplies.

All bears will be donated to the local Fire and Police Departments for comforting traumatized children.
